Windows:
GPU scaling now accepts maximized and borderless-windowed games.
BGFG scheduler issues are resolved and it now adapts its output target to the monitor's refresh rate.
Improved DX11 frame pacing and queue-size-1 handling; HUD refreshes no longer compete with processed frames.
Fixed Windows Vulkan shared-texture synchronization, cursor/overlay rendering, and frame-buffer reuse.
Improved recovery after capture interruptions and safer renderer shutdown.
Linux/Steam Deck:
Fixed non-Steam launch IDs and profile matching, with improved Gamescope feature negotiation.
Added automatic BGFX capture for non-Vulkan apps in Gamescope and KDE Plasma (Wayland).
Implemented a provisional Linux desktop interface.
Improved keyboard, mouse, and controller navigation; fixed a crash when filtering effect selections.
Improved live profile controls and preset saving.
Fixed duplicate BGFG processing and overlays when Proton games run in desktop mode.
Improved Vulkan overlay rendering and captured-window placement, including popups and notifications.
Desktop support for non-vulkan apps currently supports KDE Plasma on Wayland; it does not support other desktop environments or X11 sessions. The UI for desktop mode is improved, but may be replaced once the UI redesign for Windows is completed as well to unify them.
