Hey everyone!
We’re here with our first patch for Driving Rogue!
This update mainly focuses on fixing bugs, implementing some of the feedback you’ve shared with us, and bringing a few additional improvements to the game.
A huge thank you to everyone who has played the game and taken the time to share their feedback with us! It genuinely helps us improve Driving Rogue.

Update 1.0.1 – First Patch!
Save System
We’ve implemented a Save System, allowing you to save your current run and continue it whenever you’re ready to get back on the road!
To maintain the integrity of the leaderboards and prevent potential exploits, runs can only be saved while you’re in the Shop.
Once you save and exit, the next time you launch the game and start playing, you’ll be given the option to continue your saved run from where you left off.
Welcome To London Challenge Balancing
Updated "Welcome To London" challenge description and parameters.
Reduced required score by 20% and increased total time by 10%
Reduced speed of reversed traffic during "Welcome to London" challenge.
Updated slipstream to work with reversed traffic. This one is hard to achieve, but will give slipstream builds a fair chance to finish this challenge.
It is important to note that these are most likely not final touches to this system. For now, this is just first balancing act to make it fair compared to other challenges.
Boss and Rival Racers Collision rework
Updated AI Racer collision behavior to avoid pushing the player vehicle.
Gameplay Changes
Updated Card Shop randomization to be more balanced and fair.
Updated slipstream to work with reversed traffic.
Updated the price for checkpoint restoration.
Fixed critical game freeze occurring during high combo scores.
Fixed heal ability failing to activate at the starting line.
Fixed run cash going negative when exceeding maximum capacity, and locked maximum capacity.
Fixed "Card Trader Sticker" card stats failing to restore properly after loading a checkpoint.
Fixed trait stacking issues between Saber vehicle and Booster driver title.
Multiplayer
Fixed some multiplayer runs not publishing scores to the leaderboards.
Visual Updates - Art, UI, VFX
Fixed score formatting issues on multiple screens.
Fixed vehicle trait descriptions not updating values when changing driver titles in vehicle selection.
Fixed "Perfectly Mapped ECU" displaying zeroed buff values in the card description.
Fixed various typos across UI names and descriptions.
Fixed boss vehicle rendering incorrect parts during intro cinematics.
Updated motion blur effect with improved visual accuracy.
Reduced the spawn rate of some score VFXs.
Fixed Heal VFX remaining stuck on vehicles in certain scenarios.
Fixed text formatting issues on some score VFXs.
What to Expect
We’re already working on more fixes and improvements based on your feedback. If an issue you’ve reported hasn’t been resolved in this patch, don’t worry, we wanted to get the most important fixes and improvements out to you as quickly as possible, and we will fix those issues as soon as possible!
Beyond fixes and improvements, we’re also working on more content for Driving Rogue. These additions will take a little more time before they’re ready to reach you, but there is more on the way!
Important News – Demo Removal
We also have an important update regarding the Driving Rogue Demo.
On October 1st, 2026, we will be removing the demo from Steam.
This wasn’t an easy decision, but as a small team, our current focus needs to be on supporting and improving the full game. The demo is now outdated compared to the main game, and keeping it updated requires additional development and testing time that we would rather dedicate to the full release and upcoming content.
We hope you understand our decision, and we want to thank everyone who played the demo, shared feedback, and supported us along the way. The demo played a huge part in getting Driving Rogue to where it is today, and we’re incredibly grateful for that support.
Our focus now is on making the full game even better and bringing you more content in the future!
