We’re excited to announce that controller support is now available for beta testing! 🎮
We know it’s been a long wait, and we really appreciate everyone who has been patient with us while we worked on getting controller support ready. We wanted to make sure we refined and added improvements ahead of the official release, and we realized there’s no better way to find out what we missed than to get it into the hands of our players who will actually be using it.
⚠️ Please Keep In Mind: This is an Experimental Build
The Controller Support Beta is an experimental build. It is not the final version of controller support, and you should expect that you may encounter bugs, incomplete features, or things that simply don't feel right. We’re putting this build out specifically so that we can identify any issues, learn from the feedback, and make improvements. We want to collect anything we missed during our own testing so the official controller support release is as polished as possible.
Open Steam and go to your Library.
Right-click Echoes of Elysium and select Properties.
Click on the Game Versions & Betas.
Choose the experimental-controller branch from the list.
Close the window and wait for Steam to automatically download the files for the new branch. Once it’s finished, launch the game and start playtesting!
When you’re finished testing, you can return to the Game Versions & Betas tab and select Default Public Version to return to the main game.
👥 Multiplayer Compatibility
Multiplayer between the Controller Support Beta/Experimental branch and the Live Public Version is currently not supported. If you want to play multiplayer with others, make sure everyone is running the same version/branch of the game.
