Thank you to everyone who has checked out the Delverium Early Access release so far! We have just released our first update, and wanted to provide details of the changes, as well as what's coming up next.

Update Details

We worked hard to ensure that the game is stable and runs great, and this this small update is intended to address a few issues and improvements. None of these are critical or significant changes, and we are thankful our initial release has been very stable in solo and online play.

- ADDED: Iron Golem (rare caverns spawn)
- ADDED: New Goblin King voice
- ADDED: Tech armour material sounds
- ADDED: Tech sword material sounds
- ADDED: Settings.xml 'controllersEnabled' option to force disable controller detection in game (TODO: add in-game options setting)

- FIXED: Stack/Deposit/Loot buttons causing torch shift key shortcut issues
- FIXED: Missing butterfly tip translation for Spanish
- FIXED: Location position hint in Critical Error Report lore entry

- UPDATED: Max chest restock/stack/craft range increased from 5 to 10 tiles
- UPDATED: Animal capture sound

What's next

Initial feedback has been good, but we acknowledge we have a lot to do, especially in terms of player guidance and content discoverability in the game. While we feel Delverium contains a lot of content for our Early Access release, we understand a lot of it is hard to find, and can leave many players feeling as though there is little content and interesting things to discover. With that in mind, we are prioritising our upcoming changes to help surface content better and provide more guidance and reasons for exploration. These changes won't happen overnight but they are a priority, and and we will continue to provide other fixes and updates in the meantime.

Early Access Roadmap

While our roadmap is still flexible as we listen to initial player feedback and suggestions, we would like to re-iterate some of the core things we will be working on in the near future and throughout Early Access, including the change in priorities to address early feedback around player guidance and discoverability.

Immediate post-release plans:
- Initial Player guidance and content discoverability improvements
- Balancing and fixes
- Additional QoL improvements
- More enemies and loot

Long term major updates:
- NPC Behaviour and Quests
- Official modding support
- Additional biomes and bosses
- Pets and mounts
- and much more (stay tuned)!

We thank you all for supporting our Early Access release and look forward to your continued feedback throughout our Early Access journey!
