🍃 Hello Explorers!
This patch is mostly about saves. Nests that came back empty, data boxes that reset themselves, map icons that disappeared and animals that vanished after an autosave all came from the same place, and the game now repairs that when you load your save. Thank you to everyone who sent us their save files, that is what made these fixes possible. Keep the reports coming if you spot anything else acting weird!

Save Repair & Stability
Empty Nests After Loading: Nests that came back empty after loading a save now rebuild their population automatically, so animals no longer disappear from a nest for good.
Lost Data Boxes: Data boxes you had already collected, but which a corrupted save had reset (for example a quest counter dropping from 23/24 back to 2/24), are restored when you load, based on the blueprints you unlocked.
Missing Map Icons: On saves that come up as corrupted, plant, animal and resource icons on the map are restored for every species already in your compendium.
Animals Lost During Autosave: Fixed animals that appeared or were removed while an autosave was running being left out of the save file, which made them disappear on the next load. We also fixed the underlying cause, where two objects could end up written over each other in the save.
Achievements
Compendium Achievements: The fauna, flora and geology achievements are now decided by what is in your compendium. Saves where the tracking was never set up or was incomplete now grant the achievement when you load, as long as every required entry is known.
Animals & World
Nest Navigation: Fixed animal navigation around the Imperial Strider, Sage Strider and Nango nests.
Taming Actions: Added safety checks for animals that are removed while you are taming them or changing your reputation with them.

The key bindings overhaul, with full gamepad support and separate bindings per device
Changing gameplay settings mid-run on Engineer
A rework of consumables: crafted dishes and drinks will give noticeably more than the sum of their ingredients, with effects of their own
Beepipes losing their connection to the plant they pollinate after loading a save
