Hello Everyone,
Thank you for your enthusiasm for our new content and the latest version of the universe!
We’re releasing a minor update to address a number of issues we’ve identified—primarily based on your feedback—and to make some minor improvements.
This version, labelled Alpha 26-510.05, covers the following topics; we’re also including changes here of the two hotfixes we’ve implemented since last week.
\[Fixed] Certain logical improvements have been made to the process of automatically assigning idle workers to their existing construction duties.
\[Fixed] Issue where the “Edge Scroll” setting changed after loading has been resolved
\[Fixed] “blurred texture” display issue was resolved by making a series of changes to the rules governing graphics memory limits and performance metrics.
\[Fixed] The issue where the UI component, which displays collisions with existing objects on the map during building placement, would not close in some cases has been resolved.
\[Fixed] The “Reinforced Lumber Wall” component was previously calculated to require 3x the amount of lumber as a construction cost; this has been corrected.
\[Fixed] It was detected that some textures were unable to restore their original dimensions, particularly after applying the “custom compression” method, and the necessary adjustments were made.
\[Fixed] In some cases, the “season” does not appear to be restored correctly in save files from older versions. A second layer of security has been added to address this issue, which appears to be a largely isolated problem.
\[Improved] A set of rules has been implemented that will operate on the principle of “last in, first out” in the event that workers assigned to field assignments—such as woodcutters, miners, gatherers, and hunters—are relieved of their duties.
\[Improved] When the available workforce is insufficient, the response to construction tasks waiting in a specific order after the completion of current tasks has been revised.
\[Improved] The basic clickability feature for all selectable NPCs involved in outdoor tasks—such as carriers, builders, hunters, woodcutters etc.—has been added to stationary NPCs who are stationed “inside buildings.”
\[Improved] It was detected that, when certain structures were placed, the Decal components on their floors were unintentionally rendered as “ghosts,” and adjustments were made.
\[Improved] A series of improvements have been made to the operating principles of certain special actions, such as “NPC interactive dialogue states” and “specific animation trigger points.”
