Hello!
We’ve got a solid new update ready for you in Copa City. We’ve been reading your feedback, and today we’re rolling out a major rework of how new players learn the ropes, alongside some much-needed quality-of-life tweaks for everyone.
Here is what’s waiting for you in the Tutorial Revamp Patch.
A Cleaner Tutorial Flow
(Just a heads-up: Because of these big changes, old tutorial saves won't work anymore. You'll need to start a fresh tutorial run, but as always, you can skip it and jump straight into a normal game!)
We reworked the tutorial from scratch to make it more straightforward. We’ve cut the old 8 scenarios down to 4 focused stages that cleanly cover the three main parts of the game: the Building Loop, the City Management Loop, and the Stadium Loop.
Smoother Learning Curve: Dialogues and tutorial screens won't interrupt your tasks anymore. You get the context upfront, and then you're free to tackle the objectives at your own pace, actually playing the game while you learn.
Better Visual Cues: We’ve made the highlights and Points of Interest (POIs) much clearer. If you keep an eye on these on-screen cues, you'll figure out exactly what to do without getting stuck.

Getting a Grip on the Core Loop
The old tutorial had a few blind spots, so this one covers all the basic mechanics. Plus, we made sure to remove repetitive tasks - you’ll be dealing with fresh challenges the whole way through.
The Big Picture: The main goal here is to show you that everything you do - managing the city, fixing issues, and hyping up the event - leads to one thing: getting the biggest crowd possible safely to the stadium. You're setting the stage so match day can happen.
Stadium Mechanics Unlocked: The tutorial now walks you through the entire stadium management loop. You'll unlock stands, handle ticket sales, manage the flow of fans, and keep their needs met once they're inside.

More Tools, Streamlined Experience: We’ve given you access to more building modules and impactful decision-making events right off the bat, letting you immediately see how your choices shape the game. To balance this and prevent information overload, we’ve streamlined the tutorial by temporarily hiding some of the more UI parameters. This step-by-step approach allows you to comfortably master your resources and the interface at a natural pace, with advanced features gradually unlocking as you progress.
The Final Test & Scoring
The fourth part of the tutorial acts as an epilogue to test what you've learned. You'll take on the final crowd management challenge: guiding the massive fan march through the streets to the stadium.
We also added a time-based scoring system for the tutorial. The faster and more efficiently you get things set up, the better your score.
The Codex & Other Tweaks
Outside of the tutorial, we’re pushing some global changes and QoL updates.
Quest Log: We’ve added a proper Quest Log so you can easily keep track of all your active main and side missions. You can now see exactly what rewards to expect for pulling them off, as well as the consequences you'll face if you fail a task.
Introducing the Codex: Think of this as your go-to knowledge base. You can open the Codex right from the tutorial screens or normal gameplay to quickly look up how specific mechanics work and how they fit into the core game loop.

The Final March: A lot of you pointed out that the victory screen used to pop up right when the crowd march was getting good. We changed that. Now, you get to actually watch the fans reach the stadium and handle all the final march missions. It’s a proper payoff for all your prep work. You can see the first march as early as Stage 4 of the tutorial, after choosing to lead the fans into the stadium yourself!

Other Fixes:
Main Menu Art: We swapped in a fresh illustration for the Main Menu.

Better Gamepad Controls: Playing with a controller on the tutorial level feels much smoother now.
Upgraded Stadium Cameras: We tweaked the stadium camera angles in all three cities. It’s now way easier to see what you're doing and place modules when moving between different stadium sections.

Standout Club Modules: Club-specific modules now look a bit more distinct in the Build Menu, making them faster to find.

Give the new patch a spin and let us know what you think. Whether you're a new player figuring things out or a veteran checking out the new endgame march, we hope this makes your time in Copa City a lot better.
