Hello again, my fellow Vampire Survivors Crawlers,
It is I, Marthello, your very serious community manager.
First things first. Development on the mobile version of Vampire Crawlers is going well, and it’s still planned for release in 2026.
But on to Death Parade. Last time, we discussed throwing away cards on purpose. This time, we’re going to talk about the new stage and explain very little about why the patch is called Death Parade.
A few spoilers ahead.
Welcome to Moongolow
Some of you already spotted it in the last post, so yes: Death Parade also adds Moongolow, a new challenge stage built around limited hands and discarding.
On your first visit, the new Relic that caps how many cards you can hold will already be active, and Moongolow will guide you through some of what Death Parade has in store. If you complete the stage once, your future visits will play a little differently. You’ll also unlock the Relic as an optional toggle for Moongolow and every other stage.
Future challenge stages will follow the same rule (and yes, there will be more). Beat the challenge and its new mechanic becomes an optional toggle everywhere. Turn it on, leave it off or use it to break the game in new ways. You’ll have access to all the new content either way.
Anyway, destroying a Moon Amphora might also reward you with a Switch Gem, so, as ever, property damage is encouraged.
What is the Death Parade?
The Death Parade is here to make one thing clear: once you’ve beaten Red Death, there is nothing else waiting beyond it. That’s all. Enjoy the patch. We wish you and your deck the very best of luck.
Speaking of Luck 
Death Parade also introduces three new ways for Luck to make things more inconvenient for your enemies:
Bouncy gives attacks a Luck-based chance to bounce between enemies (requires at least two enemies).
Crit Explosion turns critical hits into explosions. Those explosions can also crit and create more explosions.
Roaring increases Area damage every time an attack spreads to another enemy.
For example, Big Troubler’s evolved weapon, Spirit Disturbance, uses both Roaring and Crit Explosion. The dragon remains on-screen until its attack - and any chains of explosions it makes - have finished.
