Custom Sushi & Restaurant Improvements Update
Update - v0.3.5-ea.2
This update introduces the new Custom Sushi system, allowing you to create, name, save, and serve your own sushi recipes.
It also includes restaurant improvements, staff updates, multiplayer achievement fixes, quest fixes, and several quality-of-life improvements.
Custom Sushi
You can now create your own Maki, Uramaki, and Temaki recipes.
Create and save your own custom sushi recipes.
Choose fillings and build each recipe using your preferred ingredients.
Ingredient usage is tracked while creating your recipe.
Placed ingredients can be returned to their matching GastroPan.
Hovering over a GastroPan now shows:
Ingredient name
Current stock count
Action hints now only appear when an action is actually available.
Custom sushi plates now display supported ingredient visuals based on the recipe.
Saved recipes keep their custom names.
Custom recipes correctly appear in the menu after reloading the game.
Improved custom recipe saving.
Improved sushi photo capture.
Improved ingredient accounting.
Improved crafting feedback while creating custom sushi.
Restaurant & Customer Improvements
Serving one customer now gives other customers at the same table an additional 10 seconds to wait.
The red X in the Orders app now only appears for items actually missing from a served order.
Fixed an issue where ingredients could reappear one by one when placing a GastroPan.
Fixed an issue where waitresses could walk around tables instead of collecting dirty trays.
Staff Improvements
Staff-earned XP is now shown to all connected players through combined notifications.
The restaurant now gains 1 XP whenever a waitress cleans a dirty tray.
Multiplayer Achievement Fixes
Fixed Compass completion achievements only unlocking for the player who collected the final fragment.
Fixed Fish Book completion achievements only unlocking for the player who collected the final entry.
These achievements now unlock for all connected players when completed.
Players joining an existing save with a completed Compass or Fish Book will now automatically receive the corresponding achievement.
These fixes work with existing saves. No new save is required.
Fixed collected Compass fragments retaining their highlight effect.
Quest Fixes
Fixed an issue where the quest would not progress after unlocking the first Conveyor Belt seat.
