Hot Fix - Game of Trick & Short Grass — Tricking 0 News

Small hotfix with fixes for Game of Tricks, several animation issues, and a significant performance improvement to the short grass.

Game of Tricks

Migrated the Game of Tricks map materials that were still using unmigrated shaders and appearing pink.
Fixed an issue where bots couldn't copy certain combos, for example when using Front Half Punch into some tricks.
Fixed bots being unable to perform split landings, which made them too easy to defeat.
Fixed the Game of Tricks restart behavior.

Animations and Tricks

Fixed the transition between Gainer Switches being too short. Depending on the framerate, it was possible to fall after a Gainer Switch even when the input was performed correctly and with the right timing.
Fixed broken animation bounds and transition timing for the right-side Aerial.
Fixed the Round Kick sometimes being triggered instead of Cheat Kicks or other twisting kicks.

Performance and Visuals

Significantly optimized the short grass shader, improving performance by around 10–30 FPS while on grass, depending on the configuration.
Improved the way short grass fades into the distance for a smoother transition.
Updated the water packages.

Miscellaneous

Updated the game's release notes to better reflect the current state of the studio and development.
