PATCH NOTES #5
What the team is focused on Our main focus right now is bringing back the ability to queue together and play with friends more easily. This is not a simple fix to re-enable: the party system is being rebuilt on top of a new connectivity layer, and that rework also has implications for the anti-cheat. It takes time, but the team is fully focused on it and we will keep you updated as it progresses. In the meantime, part of the team keeps working on the fixes and improvements we can ship to you right away. Here is what is in today's patch. Anti-AFK
Added the first implementation of an anti-AFK system.
Note: This is the first raw implementation of our anti-AFK system. It is intended to detect genuinely inactive players and move them back to their lobby, helping keep active matches cleaner and more reliable.
Settings & UI
Converted the Film Grain setting into a toggle.
Reduced the map vote timer.
Match Flow & Player Indicators
Improved player count reliability in game modes.
Improved green-square team indicator reliability.
Fixed cases where team indicators could disappear after player state changes.
Fixed the host not seeing green-square indicators on bots.
Loadout & Optics
Added an ability to preview reticles on magnified optics in the loadout editor.
Fixed minor inconsistencies in magnified reticles positioning and sizes.
Fixed a bug where camera rotation in the loadout was landing off-center after manually inspecting an item.
Fixed SG9-X basic bundle behavior so the magazine is correctly unlocked when purchasing the bundle.
Fixed flashlight socket sizing on the Sabor attachment.
Weapons, Animations & Equipment
Added and polished grenade animations.
Improved grenade animation curves, blending, and overall presentation.
Polished flash animations.
Fixed grenade-related issues.
Fixed lasers appearing invisible to other players in some situations.
Maps & Environment
Fixed a light blocker clipping through the firing range in the Lobby.
Rendering & Stability
Reworked tablet screen rendering for artifact-free display of the UI as well as more accurate and less invasive reflections.
Added extra crash-reporting data from loadout and settings to help diagnose issues.
