The wait is finally over.
As we celebrate our first anniversary, we wanted to give something back to the community that has supported us from day one.
Our anniversary gift is here: Online Multiplayer will be Free for All !
That's right online multiplayer is now available on Steam, completely free for all Formula Legends players.
Thank you for your patience, your feedback, and for sticking with us throughout this first year.
We're finally here. Let's race!
How it Works
Online Multiplayer is now live on Steam, with crossplay support planned for PlayStation and Xbox in October.
You can now race against other Legends in two different online modes:
Custom Race - Private Public (Raked)
Custom Championship - Private Public (Ranked)
The lobby creator can set the rules, giving you control over how your races are played.
You can:
Join public lobbies.
Create or join private lobbies.
Create your own lobby and set the rules.
Race with up to 10 players.
There are no skill barriers to enter a lobby. Everyone is welcome on the grid.

We've also introduced a ranking system based purely on race performance.
There are different ways to climb the ranks and move up or down compared to your opponents. Your performance on the track will determine how you progress, giving you another reason to keep racing and improving.
A Statistic Page will arrive in the next updates, with your results
No Collision
We know this one might raise some questions.
For online races, we've decided to disable collisions between players.
It wasn't an easy decision.
After extensive internal testing, we found that with Formula Legends' short tracks and fast cars, player collisions could create situations where contact was simply unavoidable often turning a close race into frustration.
So we chose a different approach:
Fast racing. Low stress. More fun.
You can focus on your lines, your braking points, your overtakes and, most importantly, enjoying the race.
We will follow Feedback community to understad if it is the rights directions. Please note: wheel support is not currently enabled for Online Multiplayer.
