It seems like just yesterday we released Arctic Awakening into the wild, but we now celebrate one year!
We started dreaming about what this game could be in 2019. Then, just before the whole world shut down, we started full development in early 2020. We'd spend the next 5 years living with Kai, Alfie, and Donovan in this frozen corner of Alaska we called Arctic Awakening, so it's still a little strange to think that it's now been out for as long as it has.
More than anything, we just want to say thank you to everyone who has played our game over the last year. Whether you picked it up at launch, discovered it later, streamed it, told a friend about it, left a review, messaged us, or shared feedback, it's genuinely meant the world to our little team!
Those first few weeks after launch were busy as we received loads of feedback and bug reports. We scrambled to get patches out and make improvements based on what we were hearing from all of you. For that, a huge shoutout to everyone who reported issues and gave us thoughtful feedback. The game is so much better off because of it, and we're really proud of where it's at today. One of the most fun things for us has been seeing what people notice, their theories, and how they connect with the characters. Part of what took 5 years was that we really wanted to focus on the little details, and the game's truly packed with them. If it's been a minute since you last set foot in the Arctic, there's likely hidden meanings, new details, and plenty of undiscovered Easter Eggs still to find!

Making Arctic Awakening has been a huge part of our lives for a long time. Seeing people discover, talk about, and spend time in the world we created is something we don't take for granted. Thank you so much for playing and for helping to give the game a life beyond our time making it.
