We are rolling out Update 1.9.1 to address your feedback following the Rent Expansion. This patch focuses on balancing the rental economy, adding helpful UI widgets, and resolving several bugs you reported.
⚖️ Rent Balance Changes
Rent Economy: We have adjusted the general rental economy. The frequency at which tenants break or steal items has been significantly reduced.
Mission Requirements: Improved the door, window, and wall calculations in the "Rent Mission Needs" section. Missing calculations have now been integrated into the system.
🖥️ UI & User Experience
Estimated Rent Indicator: Added a new sliding indicator to the UI that dynamically displays estimated rent returns for 1, 4, and 7-day periods.
Rent Info Widget: Added a detailed info widget to the top right of the "Estimated Rent" screen, showing exactly which items and features are contributing to your rental income.
Tenant Risk Widget: Added a new info widget next to NPCs that displays their potential risk of causing property damage.
Property Condition: The Rent app now displays the condition of your rental properties. You can now see their status categorized as Pristine, Good, Worn, or Ruined.
🛠️ Bug Fixes
General Bug Fixes
Trolley: Fixed an issue where the trolley could be placed incorrectly and disappear in certain locations, and added a warning message when attempting to place it in restricted areas.
Valentine's DLC: Fixed a visual bug that caused initially open doors to appear crooked or incorrectly positioned.
Side Quest Progression: Resolved a issue where disappearing trash at the beginning of the game would delays the progression of the related side quest.
Wall Painting: Fixed a bug where saving the game while painting a wall would reset the progress and permanently prevent that wall from being painted again.
Compressed Trash: Resolved minor inconsistencies in the value calculations of compressed trash.
Rent Expansion Bug Fixes
Bellwick No. 2: Fixed an issue where rugs placed on the floor were not being counted or recognized by the mission.
Grand Meridian Residence: Fixed various visual inconsistencies inside the apartments.
Astral Residence 63 & 64: Fixed an issue where these properties could not be rented or sold in certain situations.
Astral Residence 63: Fixed a visual inconsistency with the bathroom door.
Rent App (Co-op): Fixed a UI desync issue where the house info window would remain open for both players if one of them sold the owned land property or condo while the widget was active.
Rent Residence Placement: Fixed collision issues on the exterior facades (specifically non-wall areas like window edges) of residences. You can now easily place decorations or items in these spots.
