This is one of the updates we have been most excited to release.
We know many of you have been waiting for this, and we wanted to make sure everything worked properly before pushing it live.
Detective Tool Shortcuts Are Here
You can now use direct shortcuts for your detective equipment, making switching between tools much faster and more responsive.
This is something we should have included from the beginning, and we apologize for that.
The new shortcuts can also be fully rebinded in the Controls menu, so you can set them up however you prefer.
Additional Fixes & Improvements
Alongside the new shortcut system, we also fixed several other issues:
Fixed an issue where multiple objects could appear in the player's hands while using the tools.
Reworked one of the events involving the wife so it guides the player more clearly, makes the important moments easier to notice, and overall makes the sequence feel more logical. We also fixed the bug where she could sometimes remain on the map even though she was supposed to disappear.
Removed repetitive random voice lines such as “What the fuck was that?” and “What was that sound?” and more, as they could hurt the atmosphere and become repetitive.
Fixed an issue where the Quick Access Wheel could remain stuck on screen in certain situations.
Removed the automatic return to the Main Menu after the final in-game message, as some players did not have enough time to read it. You can now return to the Main Menu manually by pressing the button.
What's Next?
We are also working on additional requested accessibility features and updating missing translations.
These require a little more time and testing, but we are working on them as quickly as possible while focusing first on the most important fixes and improvements.

We know the Day One bugs affected the initial reception, but we hope these updates show that we are listening and continuing to improve the game.
