New: Bullet color
- New Bullet color option in Settings > Gameplay and Accessibility. Pick Default, White, Yellow, Cyan, Lime, Pink or Orange with Left/Right or select.
- It draws a bright core with a dark outline on your Rifle, Machine Gun, Shotgun and ally bullets, so they stay visible even with particles turned down.
- Purely visual: no hitbox or damage changes, and evil (reflected) bullets keep their normal look.
- The menu shows a preview on a dark and light background, and the setting saves with the rest of your settings.
Endless Run fixes
- Your starting weapon is now protected from equipment bans. It can't be picked by random bans or forced by explicit ones anymore.
- Continuing a run now checks your loadout. If a save has a broken selection (like the level 0 Rifle from the starter ban bug), it puts back a weapon you actually own, without giving free levels or weapons.
- Fixed the Endless save folder not being created. If the folder was missing the save silently failed and loaded an old one, which could lose relic and planet progress.
- Fixed relics being wiped on load when a save had no relic data (old saves, or a write that failed). That's why the relic menu in the shop sometimes showed an empty collection.
Steam inventory & campaigns
- Rewrote how the game reads your Steam inventory. It now keeps the last confirmed data while fetching new data, so failed or empty results can't wipe your collection, and repeated refreshes can't double your item counts.
- Item quantities are counted properly now, a stack of 5 counts as 5 instead of 1.
- The inventory refreshes when you close the Steam overlay, so things you buy show up without restarting the game.
- Fixed owning more than one copy of a planet item breaking its campaign unlock. Duplicates no longer count as "not owned".
- Campaign progress bars now use the exact same requirements as the unlock checks, so they actually match: Pluto is /1, Red Moons is /2 (Mars counts as both, or Phobos and Deimos), and duplicates can't pad your progress.
Other
- The relic achievement now unlocks when you collect 20 relics in an Endless Run, the one I mentioned a while back.
- Added automated tests for the new inventory, bullet color and Endless loadout logic so these bugs stay fixed.
