SAVES AND BACKUPS
Added a Backup Manager for saves, accessible through "Backups..." on the save selection screen. There you can browse, create, restore, and delete backups of your main game and Trials. Backups can be restored into any save slot. Restoring over an existing save or deleting a save creates a local backup first.
Automatic backups now use five-minute intervals during active play, with additional backups on Dark Rebirth and when leaving the game, if progress has been made.
Expanded automatic backup history to 256 local and 64 cloud backups per main save, and 128 local and 32 cloud backups per Trial save. Older backups are spread across longer periods to preserve more of your play history.
Added also a Manual backup feature. Manual backups remain until you delete them. You can keep up to 512 manual cloud backups across all save slots, with no fixed limit on local manual backups. You can also do local backups without limits.
Added clearer save and load error messages, with backup recovery available for saves that cannot be loaded. If a save or backup operation fails, the in-game Quit and Return to Menu buttons keep the session open so you can retry. (Useful for example if your disk is full and you need to free some space before retrying the save.)
GAMEPLAY
The "+10% Gold Bird Spawn Frequency" upgrade now correctly affects Gold Bird spawns instead of double-chest chance. It has also been increased to "+20% Gold Bird Spawn Frequency," raising the spawn chance per level from 5% to 25%.
Gold Birds can now also spawn during boss levels.
Improved the coin sweeper to prevent accidental coin loss during Warpath.
QUALITY-OF-LIFE
Newly unlocked spell buttons now flash until you use the spell for the first time.
Spell buttons now flash shortly once when their cooldown finishes.
