⚔️ More Responsive Combat & New Opportunities
In this update, our main focus was to continue improving the feel of combat while introducing new mechanics that reward positioning, precision, and timing.
Alongside improvements to movement during attacks, we've introduced a new Counter-Attack Window system, with different special actions depending on your equipped combat style.
We've also added new equipment to the HUB shops and made some adjustments to the progression of Boss encounters.
⚡ New Counter-Attack System
Certain enemy attacks can now create a Window of Opportunity.
If you recognize the right moment and react within this window, Urian can perform a special action. The counter-attack changes depending on your equipped weapon: |
🛡️ Gauntlet & Shield
React with the correct timing and Urian will unleash a special Shockwave, helping interrupt enemies, avoid incoming attacks, and control groups during combat.
🪓 Two-Handed Axe
Perform a Dash at the right moment to activate a Special Dash:
Does not consume a Dash charge.
Covers a greater distance than a regular Dash.
Can be used to quickly reposition and create new opportunities during combat.
Learning to recognize these windows adds a new layer of strategy to encounters.
🧲 Motion Warp & Game Feel
We've added Motion Warping to attacks, creating a more natural magnetic movement toward enemies when Urian is within close range.
The character now adjusts more effectively toward the target during certain attacks, reducing situations where strikes narrowly miss an enemy despite being within range.
This improvement is especially noticeable when fighting with Gauntlet & Shield, making combos feel smoother and more responsive.
🧪 New Potion Animation
Added a new animation when using Potions.
Using a Potion now has a more appropriate visual animation during combat and exploration.
👹 Boss Progression
The entrance to the Fat Mexper encounter is now located before the Ice Golem's door.
This change reorganizes the order of the challenges and improves progression between Boss encounters.
🛡️ New Weapons & Armor
The HUB shops have received new equipment!
Added a new armor set.
Added new weapons to the shops.
More equipment means more opportunities to experiment with different builds and combat styles.

We're continuing to focus on improving the feel and depth of combat. We want each weapon style to have its own identity, while making timing, positioning, and movement increasingly important.
The new counter-attack system is another step in that direction, creating new opportunities for players who learn enemy attack patterns and know exactly when to react.
