This update brings a new balance for Endless mode, removes the Interest payout cap, and fixes several quest issues. Thanks for sharing your reports and feedback!
Endless Mode
- Rebalanced Endless with consistent, compounding enemy growth throughout each run. Enemy health, damage, movement speed and travelling projectile speed increase every wave, putting much greater pressure on long runs.
- The curve is tuned to make reaching around wave 50 a major challenge for strong builds. Enemies keep getting stronger beyond that point; there is no fixed final wave.
- Regular enemies and bosses now follow the same wave-scaling rules, while retaining their individual base stats and attack patterns.
- New Endless leaderboards and personal bests keep results earned under this balance separate from previous runs. Existing records are preserved.
- Improved collision and destination handling for faster enemy projectiles.
Interest
- Removed the 200-pickle cap on Interest payouts in all game modes. Your payout can now grow with your savings and Interest stat.
- Updated the Interest and Bandit descriptions to reflect the removed cap.
- Made the Interest counter safe for very large payouts.
Quest Fixes
- Fixed "Take max 8 hits" failing on the eighth hit. You can now take eight hits and still complete the quest; the ninth hit fails it.
- Fixed failed quest markers disappearing when resuming a saved run.
- Fixed quest counters missing their final update when a quest fails or completes.
- Clarified the dodge quest to read "Dodge 10 attacks using Dodge Chance."
