Good morning, good afternoon, good evening! Another fresh Capote update is on the table, with lots of bug fixes and new features.
CAPOTE CARDS
Fixed issues that could make cards disappear when playing, discarding, or redealing;
Fixed situations where the selected card highlight and special card descriptions appeared in other players' hands;
Fixed the pointing emote sometimes staying active after selecting a target;
Adjusted the pacing of plays and animations.
LOBBY AND MULTIPLAYER
Improved the replacement of disconnected players with bots, preserving seat, character, and cards;
Fixed team preservation when returning to the lobby, plus more situations that left players without an interface after matches or map changes;
Fixed the spectator camera's starting position and controls, as well as the option for spectators to see cards;
Fixed poses when switching characters or seats in the lobby;
Betão's wheelchair now replaces the correct chair and restores the previous one when switching seats or characters;
Improved stability and recovery of incoming audio in voice chat.
TRUCO AND BETEJACK
Truco: face-down discarded cards no longer reveal their face during the animation;
Truco: fixed ties with three or more cards of the same strength, which could award the win to the wrong team;
Betejack: added match save so you can continue after closing and reopening the game;
Betejack: fixed round ending when a candle grants an automatic win with 21 on the first two cards.
TUTORIAL, SETTINGS, AND OTHER FIXES
Capote Tutorial: fixed an issue in the step for raising the bet with W and continuing with E;
Fixed the application of some graphics settings, including overall quality, antialiasing, sliders, and restoring defaults;
On integrated graphics cards, the game now applies a lighter initial setting: low quality, TAA, 70% render scale, and a 60 FPS cap. This adjustment happens only once, and you can change the settings afterward;
Added a community rules panel for first access (also available in settings);
Fixed the dog sometimes appearing under the map.
