Dear Onbu Riders

We're making steady progress on the upcoming DLC, The Last Leviathan, and wanted to share more details on what makes Levi unique!

Levi's back is dominated by a giant lake. This is how Levi stores water in order to survive on land. But it's also crucial to the survival of your village: the settlers never needed to get smart about extracting water from the air - instead, they just take it from Levi! The lake is also brimming with fish, keeping villagers fed. Keep Levi well-hydrated, and it will thrive. Corals and trees will grow quickly, and fish will be plentiful.

But the environment can take a toll on Levi. Deserts will drain Levi's water reserves quickly, especially if villagers need the water for themselves, too. If Levi dries out, the corals on its back will calcify, fish will become harder or even impossible to catch, and Levi may even start to lose health.

When the lake is completely dried out, no fish can be caught.

Keeping Levi's water level in check is vital to the survival of both Levi and the village. Plan carefully when to drain Levi's reserves and when to conserve them. Use lotions to prevent loss of moisture in dry climates, or rehydrate Levi by sacrificing your own precious water reserves.
