Greetings, hunters!
Welcome to our final dev blog before the update goes live! Today, we’re sharing a few more glimpses of the new locations, revealing a little about the Ghoul, and leaving a couple of hints for the more observant among you. We’ll keep a few secrets, though - some things are best experienced firsthand.
The Warehouse - Back Again
Yes, we’re heading back to the warehouse! The location is finished, and we couldn’t resist sharing a couple more screenshots.
It’s easy to lose sight of your teammates in the dark passageways, with your flashlight revealing only a fraction of the space around you. This is the last place you want to hear footsteps behind you when your entire team is standing in front of you.
Of course, you’re not here for a sightseeing tour. Dangerous ghosts haunt the warehouse, and it’s up to you to identify what you’re dealing with and carry out the exorcism. Try not to let this assignment be your last.
The Church
The church is another location we’d like to show you before the update.
Subdued lighting, silence, and austere architecture give this place a distinct atmosphere. That familiar sense of calm gradually gives way to unease, and the building no longer feels quite so safe. Here are a few screenshots - you’ll discover the rest in-game.
New Ghost - The Ghoul
As promised, it’s time to reveal a little more about the Ghoul’s abilities.
This ghost behaves like a wild beast, moving on all fours and clambering across walls and ceilings to throw hunters off. Keeping track of its movements won’t be easy - especially when it gets close.
Level III: during a hunt, the Ghoul can break the doors of a random hiding spot or one where it suspects a hunter is hiding. Don’t get too comfortable once you’ve shut yourself inside.
