Greetings, Gemblades!
The new Era 2 patch brings with it a lot of balance tweaks like increasing the Rat King's cost back up to 7 as he was really the star of Era 1. Frost Knight was also reworked to prefer Sapphire housing. What is possibly even more impactful though is the rework for Shogun and Envy as those two proved to be skewing all efforts to have a balance and varied meta.
My hopes are that Era 2 will bring with it a lot of new builds to the forefront of the leaderboards and I can't wait to see what people will come up with!
Gauntlet Changes
Gauntlet had a bit of an update by introducing the Hydra boss to Gauntlet V. The Hydra will spawn after defeating the other five bosses and will require a fair amount of gold and power to defeat, so plan wisely!
Additionally, you may now only keep up to one unique copy of a card between Gauntlets.
Hoard Mode
After defeating the new Gauntlet mode once, you will unlock Hoard mode, where you will face Fafnir and the power of his greed! The mode also includes a new leaderboard which will be recorded for Era 2!
