Keyboard
Switched from buffered keyboard to individual character input
Text Fields are Now applied on the following conditions:
- Hide Keyboard (may take 1-2 seconds)
- Hide Dashboard (instantly)
- Enter key pressed on keyboard (instantly)
- click somewhere besides text field (may take 1-2 seconds)
Previous data is not automatically removed, you will have to delete it every time you adjust.
This change was made because the buffered keyboard has been effectively deprecated, steam itself uses non-buffered version.
Based On feedback some behaviors may change slightly.
Desktop Mode Bindings
- Hitting the bindings button in desktop mode no longer opens the browser, instead opening a window managed by steam.
- Was informed browser method was not "officially supported", and it did have issues in more recent updates.
Fixes
- Fix Space Drag OpenXR movement issues, full x,y,z motion + same performance expectations as steamvr native games
- Update OpenVR to 2.15.6
- Fixed an issue where chaperone would be moved upon exit of OpenXR title
