Today, we’re excited to confirm the release date for The Ascent’s Legacy Patch, arriving on November 18, 2026 (PT).
Earlier this year, we committed to addressing long-standing community feedback and delivering meaningful improvements to the game. The Legacy Patch is the result of that work, bringing a range of fixes and updates focused on improving the experience for both returning players and newcomers.
The Legacy Patch: Arriving November 18, 2026 (PT)
The Legacy Patch introduces key fixes and improvements across co-op teleporting, encounter systems, save and progression safeguards, HDR, and localization improvements for multiple languages (now supporting EN, KO, FR, DE, ES, JA, PL, PT-BR, RU, and Simplified Chinese).
We know many of you have been waiting a long time for improvements in these areas, and we want to thank everyone who has continued to share feedback and support The Ascent over the past five years.
The Legacy Patch represents an important step forward for the game, and we’re looking forward to making Veles a better experience for veteran Indents and new players alike.
The Ascent Ultimate Edition Comes to Nintendo Switch 2
We also have another piece of exciting news to share.
Today, The Ascent was featured in the Nintendo Switch 2 Sizzle Reel during Nintendo Direct, confirming that The Ascent Ultimate Edition will launch digitally via the Nintendo eShop on December 2, 2026 (PT).
The Ultimate Edition includes the base game and all three existing DLC packs (Cyber Heist, CyberSec Pack, and Cyber Warrior Pack), giving Nintendo Switch 2 players the complete experience in a single package.
Because the Legacy Patch arrives ahead of the Nintendo Switch 2 release, The Ascent Ultimate Edition will include all of the fixes, improvements, and DLC from day one.
Whether you’re returning to Veles or stepping into the arcology for the first time, we’re excited for what’s ahead.
