This patch introduces a few more improvements and fixes.
Storage Increase
To accommodate the new items recently introduced into game, the storage unit has been slightly expanded. Here are the following changes :
Did not unlock house -> 28 Slots (No Change)
Unlocked house -> 48 Slots (Up from 28)
First house upgrade -> 72 Slots (No Change)
Second house upgrade -> 104 Slots (Up from 88)
Each town hall storage upgrade (4 Upgrades) now provides 16 additional slots instead of 12.
Overall, the maximum number of potential storage slots has been raised by 32.
Additional storage will be added as more items are introduced. We will likely add an extra storage system just for storing clothing, with potential expansions to the refrigerator as well.
Improvements
A new tutorial has been added during Hasel’s First Meal, to guide new chefs through the restaurant basics. This tutorial is mostly seamless and does not take up additional gameplay time.
T.E.C. friendship and romance dialogues have been adjusted to fix some story and tone inconsistencies.
Other Changes
Added a missing feature for Fish Farms – Salmon Starter description says that it can yield Salmon Roe, but this was previously not implemented. Now, when farming salmon, after the fish is fully grown, you have the option of waiting extra days for Salmon Roe to grow. When the roe has matured, harvesting will yield both Salmon and Salmon Roe.
Restaurant operation mode cannot be changed until Soft Opening has been completed.
Some furniture names have been changed for better type consistency, removed certain duplicate names, and fixed some naming errors.
Town hall weekly donation limit increased from 200 to 250 points.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a rare issue where sometimes destroying an item in your inventory could remove the same equipped item.
Fixed missing interaction prompts for Harbor Weekly Boards that you place yourself.
Fixed duplicate recipe mini icons for certain recipes.
Fixed an issue where your restaurant menu could sometimes get swapped with a different character's menu if exiting to front menu and immediately loading a different character.
Fixed a pathfinding error where NPCs sometimes walk a non-optimal path.
Fixed an issue ACT II completion achievement can sometimes be skipped. If you had previously missed this achievement, going to sleep once should unlock it.
Patch from the previous week
We also added a patch the previous week, focusing on optimization. Certain actions in the game would save the game and result lag : unlocking skills, opening bulletin board, exiting staff tab, hiring new staff, and completing quests. The game no longer saves during these points so lag will no longer occur.
Regarding saving, we also have had some reports of scene changes (game saves at this time) taking too long on certain computers. This will likely require a larger overhaul of the save system, which we are looking into and will hopefully be implemented in the next major update.
Fixed an issue with adding Fish Farm Starter items and Fish Feed into storage.
Minor UI and visual fixes.
