We apologize for being quiet for so long. During this time, we’ve been working to resolve some serious optimization issues in Factory Planner. However, we eventually realized that the existing infrastructure simply wasn’t capable of reliably supporting a large number of cards, which meant we had to rebuild the game from the ground up.
Over the past few months, Factory Planner has been completely rebuilt on a new foundation. We’re now approaching the finish line, and the new version of the game will be in your hands within the next few weeks.
Before releasing the new version, we’ll be running a playtest. During this period, we’ll need your feedback and support to help us make the game as solid as possible before release.
Thank you for sticking with us and for your patience throughout this process. We’ll have more to share very soon.
Engineer Management Panel
Engineers will no longer be displayed in the Deck Panel.
Assigning engineers to cards is now much easier. You no longer need to drag and drop an engineer onto an assignment slot. Simply click an engineer assignment slot to open the dedicated Engineer Panel, then select the engineer you want to assign.
You can also access all of your engineers through the Engineer Lobby Panel. You’ll be able to easily see which engineers are currently assigned, on an expedition, or idle.
Engineers can also be filtered by their buff types and tags, making it much easier to find the right engineer for each task.
The engineer selection panel for expeditions has also been updated. You can now see exactly how much
of each buff an engineer provides before assigning them.

Expedition Area Updates
We’ve added a new section to the expedition area showing which rewards you can earn based on your Adaptation Score. This makes it much easier to see exactly what rewards you can obtain and how much you can earn.
We’ve also added reward-type filters to the expedition screen. You can now easily identify which expedition areas can reward Engineers, Lifeforms, Neural Chips, or Upgrade Modules.

Per-Port Filtering for Splitters
You now have complete control over which materials can pass through each splitter port.
You can also assign a priority order to the ports, allowing you to control material flow exactly the way you want.

Improved Splitter Distribution
Previously, a splitter would continue transferring the same material until that material was completely depleted from its storage.
This limitation has now been removed.
No matter how many different material types enter a splitter, it will now distribute them more evenly based on the filter preferences of its ports.
Distribute Power Without Direct Connections
We’re removing the requirement to establish direct connections for power distribution.
Electricity producers, transmitters, and consumers within the Transformer Card’s range can now be connected to the electrical system automatically.
You can also increase the Transformer Card’s level to expand its power coverage range.
Preventing Accidental Card Drops into the Deck Panel
Previously, when moving multiple cards at once, accidentally dragging them over the Deck Panel could break connections between cards and reset production recipes.
This will no longer happen.
Unless you intentionally drop the cards into the Deck Panel, no information will be lost while moving cards around.
Expanded Grid Area
We’ve expanded the available grid area to allow you to build larger and more complex production lines.
The new grid provides enough space to support up to 5,000 cards in theory.
Placing Orders with the Trader
You can now customize which products you want the Trader to offer.
Once you place an order, you’ll be able to find the requested products among the new items brought by the Trader.
