Hi everyone, this update focuses on expanding the game’s history tracking features. Some of the larger features added are the school "Rings of Honor" for retired and honored jerseys, a win probability chart for watched games, and some balancing changes to team prestige, player generation/training, and the game simulation engine.
Major Features:
A new injury history page allows you to view injuries from across the league throughout the current season, with the ability to filter by conference.
Team history pages now include a wins-by-year chart as well as a conference history table showing each stint a program has spent in a conference.
The new team alumni page now display retired and honored jerseys as well as the program's drafted player history. Players are automatically added to the program’s Ring of Honor based on their career accomplishments.
Historical draft results can now be accessed directly from the League History panel.
Watched games now include a win probability chart within the game cast that updates throughout the game.
Bug Fixes & Tweaks:
Revised the prestige system to rely less on performance versus preseason expectations. Expectations are now primarily used for evaluating coach performance rather than overall program prestige. Underperforming programs can now lose prestige more readily, while higher prestige levels are more difficult to maintain.
Updated player generation to create a wider talent gap across the league. Elite players should now stand out more, weaker players will be less competitive, and high-level talent will be more concentrated at top programs.
Updated the game simulation engine to lean more heavily toward the top scoring options on the floor, bringing scoring averages for the league’s best players more in line with real life. Shot selection was also adjusted to give centers and forwards slightly more opportunities.
Reduced the base impact of player training by 5%.
Updated the default database start year to the 2026–27 season.
Fixed an issue where player-made staff moves were not reflected correctly on the Staff Movement screen.
Fixed an issue that could cause the displayed offseason stage name to be incorrect.
Fixed the undo/navigation stack when exiting a watched game.
Fixed an issue where conference logos and text could appear blank after leaving the realignment page and returning.
Fixed career records displaying incorrectly during certain offseason stages.
The conference standings page in the league news section now indicates whether a team is currently nationally ranked.
Fixed the visual placement of seeds in conference tournament bracket previews for 13–14 team conferences where the #2 and #3 seeds receive byes.
Added additional protections against a bug that could randomly reset player minutes to 0.
Fixed an issue where the user team could receive multiple offer bonuses when using auto recruiting.
