Update 0.13 for the Road to End of War is now live!
The key features of this update are:
New skills, stories and improvements
Seasonal clothing and uniform variations
Preliminary version of the final year of the war for testing purposes
Important note:
Save files from earlier versions are no longer compatible. If you wish to complete an existing playthrough, you can switch back to the previous version via the Steam beta: To do this, open the game's properties in the Steam Library, go to the 'Game Versions and Betas' tab and select 'previous-version' (0.12).

Features
Added 3 new skills:
Blast Fiend: This soldier has developed a particular talent for blowing things up. Making a bundle charge requires dexterity, a touch of pragmatism and presumably the ability not to dwell too much on what the explosion will do to the people on the other side.
Grenade Thrower: Some men know how to use their strength more effectively than others. This soldier is one of those who prefer to act from a safe distance rather than put himself in unnecessary danger. Throwing a grenade to a spot where others would first have to advance under fire suits him just fine.
Storyteller: Telling stories of everyday life at the evening campfire is a common occourrance. Being able to tell a story that takes the listener away from their daily lives and inspires them requires exceptional talent.

Added the option to play the final year of the war
Content for this final phase is still in development. You may encounter periods with little or no new content, as well as repeated events or situations. This part of the game is currently very rough and incomplete. More content and improvements are planned to be added in future updates.

Fixed the sunken movement animation so that it only occurs when soldiers are carrying a backpack
