Hello everyone! The 1.1.0 Major Update, shaped by your feedback to make the experience smoother and more strategic, is now live! This update introduces new mechanics, brings major economic balance changes, and resolves critical issues we identified.
NEW FEATURES
Every room now has a key at Reception. Hand the key directly to a customer to complete negotiation and check-in much faster.
Once you reach Resort Level 5, a special cinematic will play at a certain time of day, giving you a striking new view of your island. Don't forget to take a screenshot!
You can now adjust the day length in the game settings. During the later stages of the game, meeting increased customer demand can be very difficult with shorter days. We recommend increasing the day length as your Resort grows.
GAMEPLAY AND ECONOMY BALANCING
Items sold in the Shop were generating more profit than intended. Their profit margins have been reduced by 75%. You will now need to make more strategic choices between earning money and keeping customers satisfied.
Some rooms, fields, ranches, and animals are now more expensive. Increasing room ratings is also slightly more difficult.
Profits from drinks sold at the Beach Bar have been reduced by 50%.
Pirates who come to collect tribute from the island have been significantly strengthened. They will also demand more tribute based on your Resort Level.
Stock quantities for some traders have been significantly increased, while slaughtered farm animals now provide more reasonable amounts of loot.
HOTFIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS
Performance during the early stages of the game has been significantly improved.
Ingredients stored in the Kitchen Chest are now taken into account when cooking. Even if you do not have the ingredients in your inventory, you can prepare a meal when the required ingredients are available in the Kitchen Chest.
The Cook and Waiter now work together smoothly. Remember that you can talk to these workers to change their behavior. For example, telling the Waiter to serve only meals that match the customer's order can prevent incorrect servings.
An issue that caused the Waiter to drop a meal instead of serving it has largely been resolved. The Waiter will now put it down only if the customer has canceled the order.
An issue that caused customers to report their ordered meal incorrectly to the Cook and Waiter has been resolved.
You can now see the names and images of meals ordered by customers and drinks requested at the Beach Bar simply by looking at the customer.
Explanatory videos and text for every worker have been added to the Codex. Talk to the Worker Trader to trigger the tutorial, or access it directly by pressing "P" and opening the Codex.
An issue that allowed players to purchase items no longer in traders' inventories has been fixed.
The Restaurant Menu now displays meal ingredients. Bear Stew has been added as a new dish, and the visuals for many meals have been updated.
An animation issue that caused the Masseur to slide slightly downward while giving a massage has been fixed.
A critical issue that could lock the game when purchasing the final ranch or field has been resolved.
Customers now choose randomly among the items in the Shop.
Collision issues that could cause customers to become stuck after leaving the ship or drinking at the Beach Bar have been fixed.
Issues that caused hunted seagulls to sink into the ground after falling and occasionally prevented the rowboat from returning to sea after coming ashore have largely been resolved.
An issue that occasionally caused the game to close with a Fatal Error on some systems has been fully resolved.
A graphics issue that caused characters' heads and their surroundings to glow for players using DX11 has been fixed.
Text errors in some item descriptions have been corrected. We have also resolved many smaller issues in the background based on your feedback. Thank you for your support and excellent feedback!
