A new Eggstreme Farming update is now available!
I continue to follow player feedback and work on improvements to make the game’s systems more interesting, balanced, and easier to understand.
One of the biggest changes in this update is the bills system, but there are also adjustments to animal medicines, nighttime lighting, dirt visuals, translations, and progression.
What changed in this update?
The prices of animal medicines have been adjusted, along with the amount of health and immunity they restore.
The bills system has been completely reworked.
Players no longer pay fixed amounts for water and electricity. Instead, bill values now depend directly on actual consumption during gameplay.
Several machines and devices now consume resources while being used, including:
Computer — consumes electricity.
Vending machines — consume electricity.
Lamps — consume electricity.
Automatic Egg Collector — consumes electricity.
Automatic Water Refill Machine — consumes water and electricity.
Incubator — consumes electricity.
Other machines and systems may also contribute to overall consumption.
This means that the more machines and equipment the player uses, the more they will pay for water and electricity.
The goal is to make farm management more meaningful and encourage players to also think about the cost of keeping their equipment running.
The minimum level required to purchase the Automatic Egg Collector and the Automatic Water Refill Machine has been reduced, allowing players to unlock these machines earlier in their progression.
A translation issue on the bills screen has been fixed.
Adjustments have been made to the colors and brightness during nighttime, making the environment darker and more appropriate for the night period.
The game’s dirt spots have also received visual improvements. They now react properly to environmental lighting and no longer remain bright in dark areas or during nighttime.
What is planned for the next update?
I am already working on and planning more improvements for future updates.
Some of the planned changes include:
Further improvements to the bills system. If the player does not pay their water and/or electricity bills for a certain amount of time, automatic machines, incubators, and other equipment may stop working until the outstanding bills are paid.
A new stamina system, meaning the player will get tired while running and will no longer be able to sprint indefinitely.
A new player upgrade system, allowing players to purchase abilities and improvements such as:
Walking faster.
Running for longer.
Cleaning faster.
Carrying more items at the same time.
Paying bills automatically.
And other upgrades that may be added in the future.
Continued monitoring of the new bills system, with additional balance adjustments if necessary.

As a solo developer, this feedback is extremely important and helps me understand which systems need more attention and which improvements make the biggest difference during gameplay.
