I’ve been reading through your suggestions since launch, and this update focuses on improving some of the existing game modes while also adding a new way to play.
Here’s what’s new:
Rush Mode progression has been revamped! Based on your feedback, the mode should now progress much faster and feel more like the short, fast-paced experience it was originally meant to be.
Added Zen Mode! An infinite mode with no timers and no progression to worry about. Just keep drilling for as long as you want, relax, and enjoy the satisfying loop at your own pace.
Steam Community Items are now available! You can now collect Trading Cards, craft Badges, and unlock new Emoticons and Profile Backgrounds!
And finally...
A NEW GAME MODE IS IN THE WORKS!
I’ve already started working on Hardcore Mode, a much bigger addition that will introduce new mechanics, improved levels, and an entirely new type of progression loop.
I don’t want to reveal anything just yet, but the goal is to create a mode that feels meaningfully different from Campaign, Rush, and Zen, while giving players a new challenge and a fresh reason to start drilling again.
There’s still plenty of work to do, but I’m really excited about where it’s going, and I’ll be sharing more about Hardcore Mode in the future!
