Afternoon folks,
We have a new patch for you all today, with some big changes and a whole host of improvements and bug fixes.
One of the major highlights of this update is the economy overhaul, which aims to keep looting feeling fun, fresh and exciting, while allowing for a greater sense of progression while traversing the world.
We have also introduced additional keybinds that allow you to rebind your movement and camera.
New
Economy Overhaul.
Reduced the amount of general loot containers that spawn in the world (general loot containers exclude harvestables, chests and skill books).
Increased the amount of loot found in the remaining loot containers.
Stopped general loot containers from respawning.
Increased the amount of loot that drops from enemies.
Reduced the types of miscellaneous items that can be found in the world.
Removed proximity looting and greatly increased the interact radius for lootables.
Re-balanced harvestables in all areas of the game.
Added new keybinds for movement and camera inputs.
Quality of Life
Updated paintings in Palace Towers, to make solving the puzzle more intuitive.
Decreased the height of fences in Forest Edge and South Vale to streamline traversal.
Updated the initial shader compiler to be faster and to run while the photosensitivity warning is displayed to save time.
Updated the collision of Krat, to allow them to be jumped over.
Updated various projectiles to trigger traps correctly.
Updated Bursting Ice to do piercing damage.
Updated blood rot bodies to allow them to be detonated remotely with projectiles.
General
Implemented a potential fix for shortcut wheel keybindings resetting to default after closing the game.
Small adjustment to the materials required for upgrading magic spells.
Removed the gold requirement for the Masterfully Crafted quest.
Adjusted the in-world name of some loot containers that were displaying incorrectly.
Fixed an issue that could cause a crash with certain creature hair.
Fixed an issue with certain environmental assets in the Palace Grounds that could cause them to flicker.
Adjusted a cull distance volume in the Palace Grounds to prevent assets popping in.
Adjusted the arena for the Hunchback hunt in South Vale.
Minor text changes to make some settings easier to understand.
Updated the To Sow Discord cutscene and NPC dialogue volume.
Adjusted the entrance to the Thank The Healer quest, within the Upper City blood rot district.
Several adjustments to the droplet effect that appears on screen during rainfall.
Fixed an issue that prevented sprint turning from working correctly with weapons equipped.
Fixed an issue that allowed items to be sold and bought back from vendors for a profit.
Updated enemy AI to become alerted from nearby jump attacks.
Fixed an issue that prevented jumping during a slide.
Fixed a rare crash that could be caused by a crow getting stuck in the environment.
Fixed a crash that could be caused by having too many enemies spawn in at once.
Fixed an issue that could cause the screen to not fade correctly during level transitions.
Fixed a minor rounding inconsistency when displaying item valuations.
Fixed some combat bugs that were capable of forcing the player into an unintended state.
Updated status effect VFX to be hidden on Klauribax while underground.
Updated the collision of the Bloated Abomination to prevent them from getting stuck or accessing unintended areas.
Fixed an issue that could cause the quick select system to not trigger potions correctly when using custom keybinds.
Fixed an issue that could cause Earthen Barrage projectiles to not project correctly.
Fixed an issue that could cause a soft lock during dialogue choices with Dany Amberly and Kober Himan.
Fixed an issue that was preventing Stone Rain VFX from spawning.
Fixed a number of incorrect upgrade material requirements.
Fixed a clipping issue with the padded chainmail torso piece.
Updated tutorial signs to work with the new quick ability setting.
Updated the position of some fast travel icons on the map.
