Hey everyone, thanks for a great first week!
After lots of deliberation with members of the speedrun community I've done an overhaul of the speedrunning system. This does unfortunately mean your times have been wiped, but I promise this is the only time I'll intentionally make a breaking change like this.
"We have Livesplit at home"
I thought it would be fun (and utter overkill) to make an in-game split timer, so here it is!
These times are obviously doctored. Or are they..?
Here are the other changes!
- Game no longer waits for player input to resume timer after a cutscene
- Timer will continue to run in the main menu
- Added a 'restart run' button in the pause menu
- Added a 'restart from last checkpoint' button in the pause menu
- Camera transitions should be a lot snappier when returning to gameplay
