Today we are releasing Content Update #3 for Morbid Metal!
The Void opens, and offer a brand new, exciting twist on Morbid Metal's combat!
Also in this update: 3 new Corpora, 21 new Achievements, fixes and improvements!
VOID RIFTS
Throughout your run, you encounter rifts the impose a fresh new combat challenge on you. With the 3 new Rift Game Modes, we bring a unique twist to Morbid Metal's combat.
Player brave enough to face the challenge will be greatly rewarded with the new introduction of Void Touched Protocols. Jump into the Void to see for yourself!
PRO TIP: whenever the sky darkens and can feel a Void presence, there might be a Void Rift right around the corner. Go look for it!
Defend The Base
Protect the Void Cube from deadly waves of enemies. Keep it alive until the timer runs out and be awarded a plenty.
Kill all Turrets
Introduces stationary turrets as a new threat. Search the Void and destroy as many turrets as possible!
Time Trial
An amplified combat challenge that pushes the frantic action up a notch.
New Void Enemy Variants
When diving into the Void challenges, you will encounter new variants of our enemy roster with new special attack modifiers causing dangerous status effects:
The silenced status prevents you from using your character's skills, while the disrupted status prevents you form shapeshifting into other characters.
New Corpora
Pay To Win - Deal increased damage per 100 Nano Chips in your inventory.
Energy Amplifier - Nano Blades deal more damage.
Steel Coating - Regular Attacks deal more damage.
Bugfixes and improvements:
Added: Chests to Biome 2 portal selector room
Fixed: HA-3 projectiles didn't travel at a consistent speed
Fixed: Advanced Combat Calibration Tutorial prompt skipped the second page when playing with controller
Fixed: Game booted in English by default during first launch if Steam was set to Brazilian Portuguese
Fixed: B2 gong triggered Boss cutscene instantly when 1. hitting it 2.teleporting away 3. then coming back to boss room again
Fixed: Brightness of Sub Biome Rift in Shop
Changed: Radial pull now castable without target.
Changed: Combat Barrier Visuals
