Co-op Public Release (1.7.0)
It’s been a very long time coming, but today marks the full public release of co-op for POSTAL 4, after a period of time in public beta. You got POSTAL 4 co-op before GTA 6!
Pick your favorite POSTAL dude voice and jump on-line with up to three others. Public and private lobbies are supported, as well as the ability to drop in and out. The entire game can be finished in co-op, or you can simply jump into free roam and cause mayhem together. Or not! POSTAL 4 is only as violent as you are, after all.
For anyone not aware of the action wheel, co-op is where it finally gets to shine. Holster your weapon with Middle mouse, and then hit the right mouse button to select from a range of actions, from flipping off your fellow co-op buddies, to twerking together. And yes, you can use it to pet the dog!
In addition to co-op, there have been some modest performance improvements which we’ll be further building on for the next update after this one. We also added an optional shader pre-compiler step on first load to help combat shader stutter when entering a new area.
