Hello, Storm Strikers!

We’d like to share the details of the upcoming 1.55.3 Minor Update, scheduled for September 4, 2026.

As StormStriker is still in the pre-release stage, rather than taking an overly conservative approach to balance, we want to make bolder adjustments so that every skill has a clear reason to be chosen.

Our goal with this update is to encourage players to explore a wider variety of skill combinations and playstyles, and to create an environment where, by the time of the official release, every skill can better reflect each player’s individual style.

If any issues that significantly harm the gameplay experience are identified after these changes, we will respond quickly with hotfixes.

General

Character Spawn Areas

These changes are intended to reduce excessive spawn killing near the opposing team's base.

Character Balance

Raki

Dev Comment

We determined that the burst damage of Furry Flurry was too difficult for healers to respond to.

Some of the damage concentrated in the third hit has been redistributed to the first and second hits. We have also removed the knock-up from Furry Flurry to reduce consecutive knock-up chains and further clarify the role of Meow-ppercut.

In addition, we are increasing Raki's basic attack damage and reducing the startup time of Purrfect Pounce, allowing for more flexible combat.

Yuna

Dev Comment

To make it easier to clearly feel whether Cheongryu successfully hits its target, its follow-up attack has been changed into a multi-hit attack.

Lightning

Dev Comment

We want to bring the overall performance of our Bruiser characters closer to Akira's current level.

Lightning's previously limited chase potential has been improved through increased movement distance and additional knock-up utility. In exchange, his shields have been reduced.

This reinforces Lightning's identity as a Bruiser who survives through mobility and evasive play rather than simply absorbing incoming damage.

Chloe

Dev Comment

We are adding a short dash to Everybody Dance Now! to improve Chloe's flexibility during combat.

We are also adjusting several underused skills so that they can be explored as new viable options.

Narae

Dev Comment

We are adding a movement effect to Divine Light to give it a more distinct identity from other shield skills and make it a more compelling alternative.

Electra

Dev Comment

We are increasing the attack frequency and projectile speed of Path of Pleasure to improve its sustained damage and healing potential.

Eveleen

Dev Comment

We are strengthening Time Dilation so that it can become a more meaningful option in aggressive, dive-oriented team compositions.

Shifu

Dev Comment

We determined that the long startup and recovery of Dragon Stamp were negatively affecting its responsiveness.

In exchange for reduced damage, both animations have been significantly shortened, allowing Dragon Stamp to chain more quickly and smoothly into basic attacks and other skills.

Warmonger

Dev Comment

The reduced startup of Grab made it too difficult for opposing Tanks to react with shields, so we are reverting it to its previous value.

Instead, we are increasing the damage of Hammering to compensate for Warmonger's lower damage output compared to other Tanks.

Lucy

Dev Comment

The projectile speed of Bloody Burst was significantly slower than Bloody Shot, making it difficult to land reliably when chaining the two skills together.

We are matching their projectile speeds to make the Basic Attack → Bloody Burst → Basic Attack combo feel smoother and more natural.

As the skill will now be easier to land, its center damage has been slightly reduced.

Through this update, we will continue working to make the strengths and reasons for choosing each skill clearer, while encouraging a wider variety of skill combinations and playstyles.

We will continue to closely monitor gameplay data and your feedback following the update.

Thank you, as always, for playing StormStriker.
