Another Cat Chess update is here! After 1 month (and a couple days) of the release of Cat Chess, we’ve focused on making the game smoother, more stable, and more comfortable to play across different setups. What’s New?
More fight animations, including a new Pawn vs. Pawn attack!
A new cat-paw cursor with a cute wiggle effect.
Functional Forfeit and Draw buttons during matches.
An option to automatically skip the intro cinematic.
Improved Gamepad and Steam Deck support, including trackpad controls.
Better controller cursor speed and precision.
A major optimization pass on characters and props.
Better Fullscreen, Borderless, and multi-monitor support.
Improved compatibility with DX11, DX12, and Vulkan.
Several important crash, camera, UI, and character visual fixes.
Future Content We’re not done yet! Alongside more fixes and polish, we’re also working on new content for Cat Chess! Currently we're focusing on:
Improving the Campaign
