We hope you have been enjoying the Tidehaven update. We have uploaded a couple patches over the past week, and just wanted to provide a brief summary.
Fixes in this latest patch:
Fixed certain relationship mail not arriving or text not displaying correctly in mailbox.
Fixed festival chats and progression-related chats not providing friendship exp.
The number of different items received from a mailbox gift has been limited to 3 (previously 8) to reduce inventory clutter.
Improved quest code relating to certain quests that require giving multiple items to an NPC. We’ve had a couple reports of issues with quests like Pomarine’s Cheaper by the Dozen. Although the issues were hard to reproduce, some gaps in the code were fixed, so issues should be much less likely to appear now.
There were a couple reports of players getting stuck on Aloys' Sleepy Time Fishing quest, in the final segment. This was potentially linked to cloud saves. If you were stuck on that quest, you can now continue with the final cutscene in the docks.
Fixed the first recipe reward in Midsummer Feast not displaying correctly.
Fixed quest UI requirements incorrect color.
When a festival ends, certain held festival items will be automatically dropped, instead of needing to manually drop them after the festival.
When the festival-end UI leaderboard appears, the player is no longer able to move until pressing continue.
Added additional sound effects.
Fixes made over the past week:
Fixed a rare issue with Left Mouse Button sometimes not registering in the beginning of a restaurant service.
Player will now face the appropriate direction when entering a new scene.
Fixed random npc dress visual glitch.
Fixed random npcs hair animation sometimes not aligned with body.
Fixed a rare freeze that can happen in the research success screen.
Fixed incorrect ingredient requirement displayed during recipe enhancement.
Fixed a possible freeze when interacting with Tuber Distillers during the Night of Spirits festival, when no tool is selected.
Fixed Christmas Gingerbread festival sometimes not rewarding points when dropping off ingredients.
Removed minor NPCs C.E.C. and Asher from being able to receive daily bulletin tasks, since these NPCs are currently unreachable.
Balanced animal spawns because certain animals appear in very low quantities in certain seasons.
Slight optimization to reduce lag when completing a quest, or unlocking a skill.
