💬 A Note From the Developer
Before the patch notes, I wanted to say something. Things have been busy on Discord and in the discussions, and I've been trying to reply to every question, suggestion and report that comes in. Some really thoughtful ideas came out of those conversations, and I'm genuinely grateful for that. If you haven't joined yet, come say hi. 🎨 Shop Painting
Floor and wall painting has been added to the game. Give your shop whatever colors you like.
New paints and more paintable areas, including ceilings, are on the way.
✨ Five New Skills
Telekinesis
Move objects from a distance instead of walking over to them. One of the most requested additions.
Appraiser's Eye
A mystical eye that tells you exactly how far above market price you can sell each item.
Minsgon Bag
Carry Minsgons in your bag.
Egg Bag
Carry eggs in your bag.
Feed Bag
Carry feed in your bag.
🧰 Tool Bar
A tool bar has been added, keeping everything you need within reach.
More tools will be added to it in future updates.
🎮 Controller Support
The game is now fully playable with a controller.
🧙 The Special Merchant Is Back
He's been fixed and returned to the game. You'll be hearing that laugh again.
🎵 Minsgons Have Voices Now
Every Minsgon now has its own sound effects, so your shop and garden actually sound alive. New soundtracks have been added to the game as well. Both the creature sounds and the music were made by my close friend BlouneMusic. Work on the audio will continue in future updates.
🐾 Minsgon Changes
Companion Minsgons now grow larger and get a star above their head.
You can now mark Minsgons from the My Garden tab in the collection. Marked ones get a distinct icon above their head, making them much easier to pick out.
👷 Worker Improvements
You can now choose which eggs the Hatchery Keeper puts into the incubator, picking from any type you've unlocked at your level. If one is in stock they'll use it, otherwise they'll wait.
Fixed stockers getting caught in a loop, walking to a shelf and then heading back to the warehouse.
Fixed stockers not placing items on labeled shelves even with "place on suitable shelf" selected.
Fixed workers placing crates on shelves that hadn't been placed yet.
Fixed being able to take the bucket and crates out of workers' hands.
Fixed worker settings resetting every time you entered and exited.
Fixed workers getting stuck. (If it happens again, please report it.)
Caretakers now pet the Minsgons.
🔧 Other Additions and Improvements
New decorations added.
New achievements added.
Expansions in the expand panel are now split into categories, much easier to browse.
The icon shown when training capsules are ready to evolve now appears in a better position.
Garden visitors no longer linger for ages after closing time, they head out properly now.
Customers no longer wait outside when there's no space at the till.
Performance improvements across the board. Several models were causing frame drops and most of those are fixed.
🐛 Bug Fixes
Crashes and Freezes
Fixed certain egg types crashing the game on some machines. If it happens again, please let me know through the Steam discussions or on Discord.
Fixed a crash caused by having too many items in the warehouse.
Fixed the game freezing during loading in some cases.
Fixed severe frame drops when every Minsgon was unhappy at once.
Warehouse and Shelves
Closed the gap that kept appearing in the warehouse wall. Hopefully for good this time.
Fixed incorrect area names in the warehouse.
Fixed the last two warehouse expansion levels showing as one.
Fixed shelves being placeable on outer walls and in the warehouse.
Fixed being unable to place decorations on certain walls.
Fixed being unable to place decorations at expansion 16.
Economy
Fixed the mail pigeon buying feed at an incorrect price.
Interaction
Fixed cashiers not working when a ticket was left behind at the till.
Fixed being unable to click on shelves in some cases.
Fixed being able to pick up crates and eggs while already holding a Minsgon.
Fixed issues when placing Minsgons in the garden.
Fixed the flickering that occurred while trying to interact with things.
Visual and Text
Fixed UI text breaking after hatching and evolution in German and some other languages.
Fixed the Aqua Rare egg icon.
Fixed a visual issue when placing the tier 3 training rack.
Fixed several translation errors, including a Turkish shop label that read "wholesaler".
🔮 What's Next?
The roadmap is already up, but here's a look at what's coming beyond it:

A device that lets you order directly by clicking the label, no tablet needed

All of this and more will be arriving with the upcoming updates ^^ And with this update out, I'll be starting work on Phase 1.
