The one-of-a-kind Duck King has been a Fatal Fury series staple from the very beginning. Since appearing in the first installment, FATAL FURY (1991), this dance and martial arts hybrid has wowed fans with his nimble footwork, tricky moves, impeccable rhythm, and undeniable heart. It was an encounter with Terry Bogard many years ago that first set Duck King off on his fighter's journey, and fittingly the Hungry Wolf is what serves as the impetus for his long-awaited return. The stage is set, South Town—your king has come again!

Get down on it with South Town’s resident dancing king! Duck is South Town to the core; after all, he not only has a friendly rivalry with its hero Terry Bogard (after losing to him in his youth), but also a deep love for iconic hangout Pao Pao Café. Indeed, Pao Pao is where you’ll mostly find this old-school breaker, living it up like only he knows how: with fights, festivities, and tons of dance floor fever. When rhythmic royalty hits the stage, nothing can stay away or stop him—not even time itself!

Duck seeks revenge against Wolfgang Krauser, at whose hands he suffered a soul-crushing defeat years prior. The would-be emperor's fall by Terry Bogard's hand—and subsequent self-destruction—had all but eliminated the dancer's chance of a rematch at the time; however, now that Krauser is back in South Town, he's fair game. Revenge of the Duck—it's time.
Arcade:
Richard Meyer, owner of Pao Pao Café, reaches out to Duck with grave news: certain parties are looking to buy out the beloved establishment. The brawling breaker, of course, will have none of it, so—knowing what the tournament's generous cash prize would achieve—finds himself eyeing King of Fighters. A chance to save Pao Pao, help longtime friend Richard, and settle the score with Terry Bogard—the dancing king is ready to bust out some rhythm and bruises!
Season 3 special anime short by Masami Obari
SNK has unveiled the latest FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves animated short from world-renowned animator Masami Obari. This charming piece celebrates the start of Season 3.
The night lights up in South Town as an epic dance gig, courtesy of movers and groovers Duck King and Salvatore Ganacci, plays host to an extraordinary spectacle in its own right: a chance reunion between Terry Bogard, Rock Howard, and Rick Strowd.
Don't miss the intense, immersive action that unfolds when hungry wolves on the prowl (boldly different in their paths through life, yet bound by mutual respect) reunite in the city they call home—all in the dramatic visual style that Masami Obari does best.
About Masami Obari
Masami Obari is a Japanese anime director, animator, and mechanical designer who serves as president of Studio G-1NEO. Born in Hiroshima, Japan, Obari has been involved in the creation of numerous high-profile anime productions, and is well known for his trademark directing style that includes dynamic imagery and unique visual expression. This style has not only garnered him fans all around the world, but has also served as significant inspiration for many animators across the industry. Obari was character designer and chief animation director for the TV anime Fatal Fury: Legend of the Hungry Wolf and its sequel The New Battle, as well as director for the film version Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture. In addition to this new short, Obari also created THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV Special Movie and FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves Special Music Video.
