Hello everyone!
I know it has been a long time since the last update, so I want to be clear: Steel Artery has not been abandoned, and work on the game continues.
Unfortunately, the game’s launch was weaker than expected, so I cannot afford to work on it full-time. I need to support my family, and I currently work on Steel Artery in my limited spare time.
As I mentioned earlier, fixing bugs and continuing to develop the game requires a substantial overhaul of the simulation engine, which starts to break down once colonies reach a certain size. This is a fundamental issue, and until I solve it, I cant release a series of small updates just to reassure players that I’m still aboard and moving forward.
I also no longer want to make promises about specific dates or the contents of future updates. My own promises have worked against me several times when plans changed or the work took longer than expected. The update will be ready when it is ready.
