Now, what's coming:
🔧 Upcoming days: Patch 1.4.7 & 1.4.8
Fixing the most reported stuff from the last days:
1.4.7
Additions: Own Voice Echo with its own volume slider; invite buttons in the pause menu and on the lobby computer
Changes: If Steam fails to start up, you now get an actual error instead of the game silently falling back to your PC name; failed joins now tell you which side needs to update; connection errors are localized; larger interface text
Bugfixes: JOIN GAME did nothing; browser ignored controller/keyboard on lobby rows; lobbies vanishing under language filters

Additions: Steam self-reconnect at the main menu
Changes: Frame Generation temporarily disabled on RTX 50 series laptops until the NVIDIA laptop crash is resolved (DLSS is unaffected); Steam startup failures now tell you what went wrong
Bugfixes: Crash before the main menu on RTX 50 series laptops
Note: these patches are for 1.4 only. If you're on the 1.3-legacy branch, you won't get them.
🎃 Halloween: New Map
Remember the two major updates we mentioned in the 1.4 post? This is the first one! New mechanics, even the escape is different this time!
It's in testing soon. That lines up nicely with Halloween, and the time between gives us room for proper bugfixing and polish instead of rushing it out.
🛠️ After that: Steam Workshop
The start of Mod support for PANICORE. In development. We're really excited about this one, details when it's closer.
1.4 was the groundwork for both and now comes the fun part! If you've been enjoying the game since 1.4, an honest review helps us more than you'd think. It's the single biggest thing you can do for a two-person team.
