Update 8.3 – Consoles and PC
Hey Everyone,
We’re back with Update 8.3, which continues our rollout of multiplayer racing with a brand-new track, Area S: Cargo Run.
Tear through the cargo bay of the sprawling military compound, weaving between shipping containers and choosing your own line through the chaos. This is just the start of our ongoing multiplayer racing updates, with more races coming in the weeks ahead.
We have also updated Quickplay from the Welcome Screen, making it easier to jump into races and vote on what to play next. Race Builder has been updated, allowing players to invite friends into their own races and play together.
Update 8.3 also brings a range of other fixes and improvements, with full patch notes below. We thank you for your continued feedback and support.

Multiplayer
Quickplay and Voting now rotate through a selection of available races, with Grenade Football removed from the rotation.
General
The Multiplayer ARCADIA menus have been updated with new tiles for Curated Player Content and Race Builder Player Content.
Updated the Welcome Screen with a refreshed banner design, including localised text, and moved Summer Circuits access to the Quickplay tile, and Summer Circuits is now accessible through the Quickplay Tile.
Bug Fixes
Multiplayer
Fixed an issue on the Silva Racetrack where multiplayer races could fail to start if the lobby was at max capacity.
Fixed an issue preventing players from playing Summer Circuit on the live environment.
Fixed an issue in Grenade Football where players could be moved by the base of the Goalkeeper Assistant.
General
Fixed an issue in Oh Lily! where Morrison could have got stuck on the environment when escaping the Silo.
Fixed visual environmental issues that could appear during certain missions, such as missing or incorrect textures.
Fixed an issue in In Pursuit of the Orb and Lamrie’s secrets, where walking away after activating the elevator could block the mission progress.
Fixed an issue in A Strange Happening, where parking on certain hills could cause Seb to get stuck trying to reach the vehicle and blocking mission progress.
Fixed an issue in Save Silva where the Silva model could be seen floating inside the chamber during the boss fight.
Fixed several issues during the Launch Transponder mission where enemy bots could get stuck pathing to the tunnel entrance, spawn outside their skycars leaving them floating, or deploy before their transporters had moved towards the loader.
BUILD.ARCADIA - (PC)
Improvements
Added a new Race Builder template called Downtown Derby, helping players create more racing experiences.
Experiences created through the Race Builder now have Leaderboards.
Bug Fixes
Fixed minor naming issues with a handful of Racing Assets.
Fixed an issue with advanced variables failing to fetch persisted values on older UGC Content.
Fixed various issues in the Race Builder such as missing colours during vehicle selection, world state changes not being correctly applied, incorrect persisting UI and thumbnails not correctly updating.
