Hello, mercenaries!
Patch 1.0.3 is now live. This update brings another round of balance adjustments, QoL improvements, controller fixes, story mission tweaks, and bug fixes based on your feedback.
We’ve also included the fixes from Hotfix 1.0.2.575s.d02a8d8, which was released earlier this week.
Balance
Omega II and Devourer have been moved to the High-Tech Item Chip.
The price of goods, which depends on the station's inventory, will now be recalculated per unit, rather than after purchase. Barter coefficients have also been updated.
There will be slightly fewer robots in missions against Dilthey and RealWare.
Augments and implants will no longer appear on the floor in Descent missions.
If the "Chip required" option is selected for the Cloning difficulty setting, it is no longer possible to disable experience and rank loss upon death.
QoL
Jane's tutorial tips now appear with a delay. She'll no longer hide a grenade thrown at you!
Classes & Perks
Fixed: Deploying a turret or robot triggered the Caution perk (Tunnel Rats class).
Fixed: If a clone with the Terror Pack class transformed into a Baron, they would not receive the full bonus from the Quasimorphosis stage, but one dependent on the Insanity perk. The bonus will now stack.
Fixed: The Ghost Killer perk (Angels of Spades class) would trigger on allies. The description has been updated to indicate that the perk only triggers on enemies who don't see the clone.
Fixed: Softlock when an ally hits a clone with the Golem Group class, triggers the Direct Channel perk and kills themselves with reflected damage.
Fixes
Fixed: The Stealth Skin implant's effect would be removed if standing next to an ally.
Fixed: Using the Grenade Launcher with the Shinar’s Endless Armory pact resulted in a softlock.
Fixed: The Fana pact did not provide immunity to knockback.
Fixed: The player's pain filled up when transforming into a Baron.
Fixed: Softlock after transforming from a Baron to a human if the Baron was on fire.
Fixed: The view range bonus in the tooltip was displayed without the plus sign.
Fixed: The Condor 2189 Smoke Grenade on the Fabricator didn't show its full recipe; the recipe has been shortened.
Fixed: It was possible to obtain the ron_shock_wrist augment, which shouldn't be available to the player.
Fixed: It was possible to create a negative weight through armor upgrades.
Fixed: It was possible to expand the Cryochamber.
Fixed: In the sorting filter settings, the "All" checkbox wasn't always immediately unchecked when other options were disabled.
Fixed: The mod list returned to the top after switching mods.
Fixed: Screen tearing occurred in windowed and borderless fullscreen modes with V-Sync enabled.
Controls
Controller: Pressing down on the D-Pad would switch weapons.
Controller/Keyboard: Items couldn't be moved to the trash bin.
Fixed: If the Recycler was unlocked but not the Cryochamber, the Cryochamber hotkeys would work for the Recycler.
Fixed: The Grenade Launcher icon in the upper left corner couldn't be clicked during missions.
Story Missions
SPOILERS AHEAD
Balance: Story Mission Community and Anarchy - Decreased the number of enemies on the third and final floors, decreased the number of explosions spawning, increased the explosion spawn radius, decreased the frequency of explosions, and decreased the number of rooms on the final floor.
Balance: Story Mission Telegraph - Increased Ally Pally's health.
Fixed: Story Mission Let there be light! - If you started the nuclear bomb explosion countdown and finished the mission with ESC - Abort mission, the explosion countdown would start immediately upon replaying.
Fixed: Story Mission Let there be light! - Venus's texture didn’t change after completing the mission.
Fixed: Story Mission Let there be light! - There could be multiple rooms with shuttles on the first floor.
Fixed: Story Mission Manifesto - After using a Cyber Trojan implant on an enemy, they continued to attack the server.

Localization
Fixed: Corporation names were not displayed in tooltips in Korean, Japanese, and Chinese with the large font option enabled.

Released Earlier This Week

Fixed: Enemies in Control and Defense missions, as well as allied squads from proxies, would stand idle sometimes.
Fixed: Multi-use items obtained through barter could be split into items with a negative number of uses.
