Let us start by telling you a big thank you for your support and all the love we received recently.
You might have noticed but Hotel Galactic has crossed into the area of Mostly Positive reviews here on Steam. It's a really big deal for us as it's always great to see our players have more fun. This has always been the goal and that's not changing now - we want to bring you a game that's really exciting while being super cozy!
That also means that we want to keep on improving. As we've already started working on the content that will arrive with full release of the game, we'll make sure that our work results in the full game being an absolute treat of an experience. We've been also sharing some extra sneakpeeks of what we're working on from time to time via our Discord - which of course we invite you all to join! 😊
Today's patch (which we are calling a coldfix, as we deliberately took our time to work on it and squash as many bugs as possible) is a direct response to the reports we've been receiving recently. We've been identifying and fixing the issues that were both reported to us by community and also by our internal testers. This should result in a better and smoother experience for all our players!

Hotel Galactic is now available in Italian! 
We're proud to say that starting from now on you can play Hotel Galactic in one additional language - Italian. We've always been keen on adding more languages to the game, especially after seeing the playerbase of certain language grew in size. We hope that all of our Italian-speaking players will enjoy the translation!

Achievements are now translated into supported languages as well!
From now on all the achievements available in Hotel Galactic are also translated into the languages that we officially support. You can now easily see what kind of achievement you have or still are working for without the need to translate their name or description from English into your native language.
Hopefully that will make it more convenient for many of you - we know that this has been something that Hotel Galactic's community has requested for quite a while and we're happy to be finally able to provide.

Fixed multiple cases where workers, guests, items, or tasks could become stuck or behave incorrectly.
Improved guest behavior around rooms, beds, the Spa, conversations, and hotel services.
Fixed several issues with storage, backpacks, item reservations, stacking, and item interactions.
Improved character positioning and animations when sleeping, working, interacting with objects, and participating in conversations.
Building & Customization
Improved furniture placement, snapping, collision, and demolition behavior across multiple objects and rooms.
Improved the Pattern Application Tool and fixed patterns not updating or applying correctly.
Improved underground construction, doors, elevators, portals, and room nameplates.
Fixed several visual issues affecting furniture, windows, Spa objects, and other decorations.
Quests & Progression
Improved quest guidance for crafting, furnishing, building, and other objectives.
Fixed several quests failing to recognize the correct rooms, items, ships, or completed objectives.
Improved research behavior, including research queues, requirements, rewards, and controller interactions.

Adjusted seed drying costs, processing time, and output.
Farming Island
Improved the Farming Island layout, bridge area, navigation, and collisions.

Added a new Plum Tree to the Farming Island bridge, which grows over time and can be harvested for fruits
UI & Controller
Significantly improved controller support across construction, research, crafting, worker management, menus, and other interfaces.
Fixed numerous controller navigation, selection, glyph, cursor, and input switching issues.
Improved the Worker Priority panel, save menu, profile selection, tooltips, scrolling, and UI behavior across different resolutions.
Fixed several visual and navigation issues affecting quest markers, menus, and other interface elements.
Story, Animations & Audio
Fixed numerous character positioning, animation, camera, and visibility issues during cutscenes and conversations.
Improved several story sequences involving Felicia, Gustav, Tukyuks, Knuckles, Monster, Marietta, and other characters.
Reworked and improved character footsteps.
Added and improved voice-over and sound effects for character activities, interactions, and cutscenes.
Improved cutscene music and added subtitles to Cinema movies.
Visuals & Localization
Fixed and updated various existing furniture, decorations, character assets, icons, and environmental details throughout the game.
Fixed multiple visual issues with lighting, materials, animations, and object appearance.
Added Italian language support.
Updated translations, missing localization, credits, and various UI texts.
Other Fixes
Fixed several issues affecting Photo Mode and save game screenshots.
Improved save game and autosave UI behavior.
Known Issues
Rations may occasionally appear on the floor.
Dirty bedsheets may occasionally appear on the floor. Reloading the game resolves the issue.
Guest luggage may occasionally be equipped incorrectly or disappear. Reloading the game resolves the issue.
Pington trumpets may occasionally appear too high in front of the character.
Some translations are missing or incorrect, including some Italian translations.
The clean laundry icon may briefly appear next to the cursor while laundry is drying.
Mogumo and Silver may face the wrong direction after their ships arrive.
Black scaffolding may appear in the Research Room while repairing the Goo Delivery System.
Required crafting items may be highlighted too late during some quests.
Maklo's luggage disappears during his departure.
The tentacle model is missing its underside.
The Loom does not display its research requirements.
Opening one present may stop the idle animation of another present.
Visual artifacts may appear on portraits of important characters in the Compendium.
Knuckles may remain visible during Greta's departure.
Salima may appear outside the hotel during the GPC arrival in the "Spirit Affair" quest.
A bush near the tree on the bridge to Satori Island may appear floating in the air.
The camera may be positioned slightly too low during the second conversation with the Baui Guest.
Grass may occasionally clip through the hotel floor.
Some background elements may appear with a delay after exiting Build Mode.
The portal sprite may disappear while placing the portal.
