Attention, agents! We've rolled out another update covering many long-requested quality-of-life features, balance adjustments, and overall game flow improvements. Please make sure your game is updated to the latest version.
Improvements
Refined Rorschach Test instructions to use to use more specific terms such as "beetle," "spider," and "bedbug" instead of broad categories like "insects," making it clearer which words players should look for.
Added full mouse-only control support, allowing you to skip dialogue with mouse clicks so the entire game can be played using only a mouse. Please note that keyboard support is still in-game with no extra settings needed to be configured.
Disabled tutorials during subsequent playthroughs after reaching your first ending.
Added an explanation to the camera tutorial to clarify how interference intensity helps locate anomalies, and changed the anomaly used in the tutorial and its position.
Added an animation that automatically stows the Manual and newspaper at the start of each shift to clear workspace. They can still be retrieved back and stowed again manually as before.
Added shift map visual indicators (question marks and borders) alongside tooltips to show optimal days for branching into alternative story paths.
Disabled text and image highlighting in the newspaper to prevent accidental interactions during document checks.
Increased the occurrence frequency of photo mismatch across visitor documents.
Expanded morning Isolation Ward reports to clearly show how successful experiments impact your progress.
Adjusted Rapid Blood Test colors to improve visual contrast and accessibility for colorblind players.
Important Notice Regarding Existing Saves
Due to recent protocol recalibrations, agents loading pre-patch save files may experience minor timeline anomalies, such as certain City Operations missing from the active map. If you encounter this issue, do not panic or delete your save file. Remain calm, follow standard inspection protocols, and proceed with your shift as usual.
