DEAD TRASH: THE HARBOR UPDATE
A new FREE update is OUT NOW!
WELCOME TO THE HARBOR
DEAD TRASH has been expanded with two brand-new levels set in a filthy industrial harbor, filled with shipping containers, warehouses, docks, fishing crates, container ships, fishing boats and plenty of new places to fight your way through.
And the Harbor has some new residents.
The Black Death
A rat-skull-wearing biker cult that has made the Harbor their territory.
Crazed Dock Workers
Armed, angry and definitely not union-approved.
Bigger Rats
You've seen the little ones running around.
These ones aren't running away. And they bite.
NEW WEAPON
Sometimes you just need to throw something explosive at a problem.
The update adds a new throwable hand grenade, giving you another way to turn groups of enemies into considerably smaller groups of enemies.
NEW COMIC-BOOK STORY
The two Harbor levels come with new comic-book story sequences, continuing the story as you make your way through the new area.
NEW MUSIC
The Harbor features a brand-new original track by Brazenscull, bringing some new noise to the docks.
MORE TO FIND IN THE OLD LEVELS
The update isn't limited to the Harbor.
I've also gone back through the existing levels and added new areas, textures, buildings, environmental details and secrets.
So even if you've already finished DEAD TRASH, there are new things to find when playing through it again.
FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS
A lot of smaller things have been cleaned up along the way.
This includes corrected and replaced textures, misplaced objects, additional out-of-bounds fixes, improved level boundaries, many invisible walls replaced with visible fencing, tweaks to loot drops, an improved assault rifle animation, a completely new Sten gun visual with a proper reload animation, and lots of other small fixes throughout the game.
2 NEW ACHIEVEMENTS
Two new Steam achievements have also been added for the new content.

DEAD TRASH was released on March 11, 2025, and more than a year later I'm incredibly grateful that people are still playing it.
The reviews, comments, videos, messages and support since release have meant a lot.
That's a big part of why I wanted to come back and add something substantial to the original game, while also giving the existing levels another pass.
If you've already played DEAD TRASH, I hope the Harbor gives you a good reason to jump back in.
And if you've never played it before, there's now even more fun waiting for you.
