The beta branch has been updated to version 1.3.68. Fixes and improvements since 1.3.63:
New "Frame rate limit" option (Options → Video) — defaults to matching your monitor's refresh rate. Can be set to certain framerate caps (30 - 240), or uncapped.
New "Display mode" option — choose Fullscreen (borderless) or Fullscreen (exclusive). If you ever get choppy framerates in Borderless, try Exclusive.
New "Color players by kingdom" option — turning on will cause players to be shown as their unique color in the minimap, instead of a shared team/enemy color
Another multiplayer desync fix added for floating-point drift between different CPUs, via X/Y position quantization
Other fixes for rare resolution and graphics driver crashes
Reminders:
To play multiplayer, you and your friends must be on the same game version.
If your game fails to update (the menu shows an older version), it may be necessary to go to the Properties -> Installed Files -> “Verify integrity of game files” in Steam. If that doesn’t work you can try deleting your Kohan II install folder, or Uninstall, and then reinstall the game within Steam. If you are encountering fatal TrueType and font errors, ensure you are opted-in to the beta branch, and not launching the default branch.
