Greetings, Gemblades!
The new patch heralds the beginning of Era One which comes along with fresh leaderbords, balance changes, a fair bit of card reworks, a lot of focus on improving the new Gauntlet mode, and a lot of changes to the familiars in the game.
Here is a list of some of the changes you will find in the new update:
Hall of Fame added to the main menu with names for the Champions of Era Zero.
Familiars are now unique, you can't have multiple copies of the same familiar in play.
Familiars now cap at 12 maximum. Over-summoning sacrifices the earliest summoned familiar in play. There is also a number for this above your deck buttons.
Familiars no longer have summoning sickness.
Evolving now works on played Gemblades as well.
Tokens that spawn have been reworked to align in a vertical column moving up.
Exile tokens are now universal and can be used on both cards in your hand and cards in recruit interchangeably.
Double-right click the ban book to unban your bans.
You can now adopt a familiar in your gauntlet run and start new gauntlets with it in play.
New Haste keyword allowing you to instantly play Gemblades from Recruit.
Emerald identity heavily reworked.
